RGBlink’s switchers, scalers and processors go on show.

Electrosonic SA, a well-known distributing company of live entertainment equipment has been of service to the industry for almost 30 years. Following the recent announcement of a sole distribution partnership for RGBlink in South Africa, the Live Events team is set up to host their 3rd showcase for the year.

All eyes will be on RGBlink at Electrosonic’s AV Goes LIVE Roadshow, presented in Johannesburg from 30 September to 04 October 2019.

Join our special guest, RGBlink sales director, Rod Sommerich for an info session to shed light on how to choose the right product for your application and learn of these AV trends for the Live Entertainment industry.

During the roadshow, you’ll learn about High Performance Processing with 4K input, Video Control Consoles and Seamless Switchers and Scalers with Test Tools for various Applications.

An absolute highlight of the AV Goes LIVE Roadshow is demonstrations of how RGBlink works with the latest ProSpectre LED screens. A further bonus feature not to be missed is Martin Professional’s brand-new VDO Atomic Dot which combines a compact strobe, a small blinder, video-pixel and a small spotlight.

Bruce Schwartz, the live events director, is excited about introducing RGBlink’s latest solutions to the live events industry. “I think whenever we launch a product, it always adds credibility when we have suppliers come from the host countries and represent the brand. It means they have an interest in what we do with the products in South Africa. They’re showing interest by wanting to meet our customer base so they can understand the customers’ needs and wants, to get valuable input that they can take back to their own company and put that into future products.”

Equally exciting in the industry is the arrival of Martin by HARMAN’s compact VDO Atomic Dot, which will also take prime position at the Roadshow. “This video fixture is a unique product which people who own the Martin P3 System Controller can already add to their system. It’s an ecosystem, and there’s nothing else like it in the world. The Atomic Dot is well-priced, useful, extremely bright and a creative tool that’s multi-functional. A lighting or set designer can use it in many different ways and we’re yet to see how customers use their ingenuity to implement these products,” Schwartz adds with much enthusiasm.

Following the successful Martin MAC Allure and the Networking for the Live Events Industry Roadshows hosted by Electrosonic this year, the AV Goes Live Roadshow promises to be equally exhilarating. Bruce Schwartz concludes, “Coming to the roadshow is an opportunity to see products that you possibly haven’t seen before. I also think some people in the country are aware of RGBlink but need a strong distributor who offers full training and support. It would be good to come and see the support level that Electrosonic offers, what some of these other products do and how easy they’re to use in an environment. It’ll be an eye-opener of sorts.”
