Buyiswa joined Prosound 11 years ago, and has worked within most departments in the company, displaying an aptitude for each task that caught the attention of the current directors. It was during the 2010 World Cup that Buyiswa’s ability to adapt to stressful situations and deal with staff welfare and expectations that her strength at managing complex contracts and situations really came to the fore. In recent years she worked formally as the Human Resources Manager, in which she has excelled. The highlights of which include launching an education trust, headway made in empowerment initiatives focussing on training and establishing an essential business division, which did not exist before.

The current directors, Justin Acres, Andre Buys and Mark Malherbe have welcomed Buyiswa to the Board, along with the rest of the Prosound team, who wish her well in her new role.

Buyiswa is also very excited with her future prospects and welcomes the appointment.

“I am looking forward to being part of steering Prosound to new heights.”
