Visitors will be able to see Christie’s range of control room-specific flat panels,
displays and processing at Intersec in Dubai, January 2017 (22nd to 24th).
Additionally, they can learn which technology fits their application from industry
experts responsible for Government, military and commercial control rooms world-
wide. “We have the range of budget and functionality,’ commented David Griffiths,
Director, Market Solutions at Christie. “From flat panels to Christie MicroTiles or
large DLP cubes, the key is to make the right choice. So, we offer everything
depending on your exact requirement.’

Christie’s flat panels with ultra-thin bezels are specifically designed to provide near
seamless displays for control rooms that are at the ideal resolution and brightness;
on show at Intersec is the 55-inch Christie FHD552-X. Displays will include proven
control-room favourites, Christie MicroTiles and HD70DLP EnteroHB Cubes.
MicroTiles give high resolution, with a tiny footprint making them ideal for small
spaces or large video walls and true 24/7 use in control rooms. A 4×1 strip on the
stand will emphasize the flexibility given by the footprint and MicroTiles are also
ideal if you want no burn, no damage and seamless displays. Christie’s EnteroHB
Cubes with rear access projection, meanwhile, have for more than ten years, shown
to be a reliable choice and are upgradeable too now featuring even higher efficiency
– brighter than previous cubes and using less energy.

Griffiths also emphasizes the importance of processing. “Processing power remains
key and every display will be linked with Christie Phoenix,’ he commented. “Visitors
can see how it solves content mobility on absolutely all displays – in unison – not
just in the control room but for remote, shared viewing. People can screen a
showing in the board room, or at a different office location, at the same time.’
Christie Phoenix is now ONVIF compliant as well as Milestone compatible, these
recent upgrades means it’s the same cost but even more value and additional
processing ability so users can expand the capability of their control room content.
