Ernie Lansford’s title is Director of North America Sales-Music Gear Group but that
barely begins to describe his many contributions to LOUD Technologies. “EL” joined
the company almost exactly ten years ago, on December 30, 2005, as Eastern
Regional Sales Manager, moving up to Director of North American Sales in 2008 and
then to his current position. If at any point you asked Lansford how he was doing,
he would assure you that he was “having the time of my life.”

Now, he is, as he puts it, “repurposing.” Some might call it “retirement,” but that
makes one think of kicking back and relaxing, and Lansford plans to be active. “My
repurpose plans include launching Customer Success Academy to Empower
Customer Success Masters®,” he begins. “My 30-second elevator pitch: I empower
sales professionals to become Customer Success Masters to enhance marketing,
sales, and profitability of their customers and themselves.”

Lansford will be sorely missed at LOUD and by the many sales reps and others
whose lives and businesses he has touched. “I’ve had the pleasure of working with
Ernie for the past seven years,” remarks sales representative Gary Marshank, who
heads up the Marshank Group. “His management style finds that sweet spot
between firm and friendly, and he’s eager to help us in every way. We consider him
a friend as well as a leader. Ernie is one of those managers who knows the value of
traditional sales techniques while embracing new technology. We wish him the best
of luck as he ‘repurposes’ himself.”

“Ernie has always been there to assist us,” recalls Quest Marketing founder John
Saviano. “Whether it was marketing ideas, sales strategies, or just old-fashioned,
side-by-side selling, he’s always available. He has been a fantastic cheerleader for
the Mackie and Ampeg brands and is constantly upbeat. Through the struggles and
challenges of what business today is all about, he’s simply having the time of his
life!”

So thanks, Ernie, from everyone at LOUD Technologies and from all of your friends
and connections in the industry. We’ll miss having you on our team but we look
forward to your future endeavors. Working with you for the past ten years, we’ve
all had the time of our lives.
