As Africa’s most successful advanced technology trade show, Mediatech is proud to announce Gearhouse SA as the official technical sponsor for this year’s exhibition. Gearhouse SA is a leading, total technical solution group, servicing all aspects of the events industry. Visitors to Mediatech can look forward to experiencing Gearhouse’s state of the art technology, put together by qualified and passionate personnel.
Together with Gearhouse Splitbeam, LEDVision and Gearhouse In2Structures; Gearhouse SA will manage all the technical requirements for the presentation and coffee bar areas as well as provide large scale LED signage around the exhibition floor. They will also be erecting a portable temporary venue outside. Gearhouse Group’s systems integration company, System Solutions, will have a stand on the exhibition itself.
Says National Marketing Manager, Robyn D’Alessandro: “Mediatech Africa provides an opportunity for us to contribute to an industry initiative that promotes South African capabilities in the areas of advanced technology, broadcasting, pro AV and entertainment, thereby exposing our industry to international markets. It’s a great platform for Gearhouse to be able to showcase some of the equipment in action and we believe that for industry players to be able to participate at a South African exhibition of this calibre is a fantastic opportunity.. We also look forward to connecting and strengthening relationships with many of our own suppliers and partners during the show period which opens up new trade possibilities.’
The Midi Dome is a new innovation that Gearhouse SA will be installing in one of the car park areas at the venue. This brand new structure appeals to a variety of customers looking for temporary space with exceptional safety ratings and generous rigging capabilities. Currently the smallest in Gearhouse In2Structures’ range of locally designed and manufactured portable venues; these structures are highly versatile and can be transformed and configured according to the client’s requirements. Some of the features that make it unique and especially appealing are that they can be erected almost anywhere, are completely weatherproof and have the options of air conditioning, automated doors, sundeck and additional foyers/dressing rooms. “This type of venue offers an upmarket, safe alternative to marquees and a cost effective alternative to building permanent venues,’ says D’Alessandro.
Visitors are encouraged to experience these advanced technological solutions and more at the Coca-Cola Dome between 17 and 19 July. Mediatech promises to showcase a diverse programme that includes a dynamic spread of brands on display, live demonstrations, outdoor sound demos, AV technology workshops and entertainment.
