Genelec recently announced the appointment of well-known industry figure Morten
Laulund Uldbæk to the position of Area Sales Manager for Denmark, effective
immediately. The appointment will see Uldbæk greatly expand Genelec’s presence
throughout the country, drawing on an extensive network of dedicated dealers
whilst offering support to existing customers.
Having worked within the industry for more than 15 years, Uldbæk is a familiar
figure in Danish professional audio. Located near to the city of Aarhus, he’s
experience in the professional audio business offered him the opportunity to work
with many of the industry’s most respected brands. He is, he says, excited to be
joining Genelec.
“I have known Genelec for many years and am very familiar with the company’s
products and values,’ he commented. “With their leadership position in active
monitors, innovations such as Smart Active Monitoring (SAM™), and audio-over-IP,
there has never been a more exciting time to join this company. I’m very much
looking forward to expanding Genelec’s customer base in Denmark’s pro-audio
market.’

Uldbæk’s appointment follows the recent arrival of another high profile member of
the Danish industry, Thomas Lund, who joined Genelec earlier in 2016, as Senior
Technologist. Working with Uldbæk, Lund will continue delivering educational
seminars both in the region and beyond.
