InfoComm International, the trade association representing the global AV industry and the co-owner of the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) trade show, has announced its first “Women of InfoComm’ networking breakfast for ISE 2015.

The Women of InfoComm Network (WIN) is committed to “promoting and empowering women in the AV and IT industries’. Partaking in WIN’s live and online events throughout the year, will enable its members the ability to make connections, find resources, pursue education, discover mentors and identify opportunities to advance women in the industry. WIN endeavours to raise awareness of gender diversity and celebrates the achievement of women who work in the IT and AV Industry.

“The WIN breakfast at ISE 2015 will explore what women and men in the industry can do to encourage women into successful long-term careers in technology,’ explains Betsy Jaffe, vice president of communications at InfoComm International.
The breakfast will be presented by InfoComm director, Sarah Joyce, vice-president, EMEA, at Electrosonic, where she’ll be sharing experiences and highlights from her 20-year career in technology. Hosting an interactive session, aimed at promoting women in technology will be Diana Danziger, an organisational development and leadership consultant.

The session will end with networking and a roundtable discussion to canvass input from participants about potential WIN activities in Europe.
The WIN breakfast will take place at the First Lounge restaurant, Amsterdam RAI, from 08h00 to0 9h30 on 11 February, and costs €40.
