Matrox® Graphics, a global manufacturer of innovative video wall, encoding, and KVM
products, will be featured as key components of both the Visiology and Peripheral
Vision stands at Mediatech Africa 2017 being held in Johannesburg, from 19 to 21
July.
At the Visiology stand (D52), a combination of Matrox’s C680 six-output 4K graphics
cards and Mura IPX capture, encode, decode, and display cards will power an IP-
enabled video wall system, all controlled by the Visiology PolyWall video wall and
information display software.
Supporting multiple displays and simultaneous user connections, the PolyWall
software offers an intuitive platform for video wall control and collaboration, fully
capable from a browser based platform.
“Our customers are looking for control of video walls that fit their needs, not video
walls that limit their options,’ said Ivan Vakhmyanin, CEO of Visiology. “We are
pleased to offer our partners an extended variety of hardware solutions. Matrox
products provide a reliable and flexible platform that gives video wall users the option
to capture, encode, decode and display diverse sources across the wall canvas of their
choice.’
“Based on our long-lasting experience with Matrox, we look forward to bringing their
latest technology into our projects and offer our customer new solutions’ added Elena
Novikova, CEO of Polymedia, owner of Visiology.
Nearby, Matrox will also be represented by local reseller Peripheral Vision at stand
D41. Featuring the H.264 based Maevex AV-over-IP and Matrox powered video wall
products, Peripheral Vision will be showcasing solutions for complex business
problems.
“Peripheral Vision is proud to showcase an innovative, full 4K AV over IP solution from
Matrox,’ said Fred van der Merwe, operations manager with Peripheral Vision. “The
demo will show how effortlessly high-quality 4K and full HD images can be encoded
and displayed, and the ease with which these images can be processed for use across
a multitude of video wall applications.’
