Movietex, a new division of Movievision, welcomed Ron Knell and Cristian Arroymora from Roscotex, for a short road trip of Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg, to promote their latest products from Rosco & Movietex.

Ron Knell commented on the successful Road Trip “This was a great experience in bringing awareness of the Rosco range, as well as to promote Rosco textiles for Film & TV through our newly appointed dealer, Movievision and to bring awareness to the Movietex brand. We received very positive feedback from our customers, who loved the fact that Rosco textiles are now available in South Africa. Our products stand out from our competitors because we offer a diverse range of high quality products, having flame retardant textiles as well as competitive pricing. My highlight of the entire trip was the South African hospitality and making new friends.

Miro Cube Range:

WNC: Using 12 high quality Cree XML 4W emitters, the Miro Cube WNC outputs 3100 lumens and can adjust from 2800K to 6500K. A mix of warm, neutral and cool LEDs insure excellent rendering across all colour temperatures. Small enough to be built into scenery or soffits, and light enough to mount as a track light, the Miro Cube WNC is perfect for use on TV or film sets, in retail lighting, museums, architecture photography studios or any white light application.

UV: Ideally suited for theme parks, night clubs, casinos, museums and stage applications, MIRO CUBE UV is the smallest, most affordable high powered UV light available to lighting professionals.

4C: Using best in class RGBW quad colour, multi-channel chips, a gorgeous palette of saturated,mid-tone and pale tint colours can be dialled in at the touch of a button. And of course, a true white is always available as well. The single chip design eliminates multi-coloured shadows and creates a powerful, fully blended colour wash wherever the designer needs it.

ARC: Designed to streamline architectural and museum installations, the Miro Cube ARC features a direct-wire power cable and recessed RJ45 connectors for data input. Designers will appreciate the Miro Cube ARC’s more elegant visual profile. Electrical contractors that are more familiar with pulling hardwire connections and data lines will find these options beneficial as they simplify distribution of power and control cable runs.
