You would need to have lived on another planet to be unaware of the economic
woes Greece has suffered over the past few years; but Powersoft distributor DNA
Systems has more than weathered the adverse economic trading conditions.
The company has built up real momentum and hopes to maintain this when it
returns to occupy stand #33 at the Music World Expo in Athens (May 13-15)
following their success last year. “This is our only annual show in Greece and with
all our competitors participating, it is vitally important,’ states technical director,
Aris Issaris. “Visitors will be able to experience the high technology products that
we distribute such as Powersoft. We are not a low cost solution but definitely we
have the best solution for our customers.
“Powersoft is simply the best,’ he continues. “It is the most innovative amplification
platform for all audio applications and at the same time provides highly competitive
pricing.’
DNA Systems has decided to present all of Powersoft’s “heavy hitters’ at the show —
including K3 DSP, M50Q HDSP, Ottocanali 1204 and Deva — along with some
Armonia software awareness.
Next year will mark DNA’s tenth anniversary of representing the Italian
manufacturer — and they remain as positive as the day they took on the brand. Aris
insists that despite the economic conditions, they have been able to impress on
customers the importance of long term planning. “With the partnership of Powersoft
and DNA we want them to know that their investment in the future is in safe
hands,’ he says.
This message to the market is simply that no company does more to maximise
loudspeaker sound than Powersoft. “Their DSP processing power and control can
provide detailed analysis of the audio and revolutionise the listening experience.
And with one amp channel powering several loudspeakers and producing the same
results, the flexibility is enormous.’
And the market has certainly responded favourably. In April alone, DNA Systems
assisted the expansion of a multi-purpose room in the Fougaro Arts Complex in
Nafplion, a beautiful small port city in the eastern Peloponnese region of Greece.
Here Powersoft’s four-channel M28Q HDSP+ETH was specified, and with the
customer expressing 100% satisfaction, future expansion with Powersoft is assured.
Prior to that DNA Systems installed a pair of multi-channel Ottocanali 1204 with
DSP control for a smart home, using Klipsh loudspeakers. Finally, back in October
they delivered a Powersoft M50Q HDSP and X8 for one of the most important rock
stages in Athens, the Fuzz Club — to drive their L-Acoustics dVDosc rig.
