The Pro-Systems Africa News team is currently touring Cape Town, where we have had the opportunity to visit and interview a number of key players in the entertainment technology market in the region.
As the only authoritative publication that specialises in the professional AV sector in the country, we are committed to providing the industry with a platform to tell their stories to fellows in the industry and to a broad range of end users across a range of sectors. Our relationships with all of the stakeholders in both the professional AV integration market and entertainment technology industry is of great importance to us. To ensure that we are bringing you all of the industry news from across the region, we will be knocking on the doors of distributors, suppliers, integrators, production companies and rental companies across the country in the months ahead.
We would like to thank all of the companies that we have had the privilege of visiting thus far, including JP Willson of Unfazed Productions, Gareth Hadden of Formative, Neil Zaayman of Kilowatt, Andrew Gibson of Magnetic Storm, Costa Champanis of Ultra Events, Clint Cawood of the CCPP Group as well as representatives from various divisions of the Gearhouse Group of companies and MGG, among others. We have a number of meetings still scheduled, and we look forward to getting to know the Cape Town contingent.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank everybody that has made this trip not only an extremely valuable opportunity to gather news from around Cape Town but most importantly for opening their doors to us and making us feel so welcome. We will be publishing a series of company profiles following our tour of Cape Town in the print edition of Pro-Systems Africa News over the next few months.
As always, we appeal to anybody in the industry to reach out and tell us your stories. Should you wish to take advantage of the opportunity to tell the editorial team about exciting projects on the horizon, please contact the editor at editor@pro-systems.co.za to set up a meeting.
