The JBL VTX V20 is a compact extraordinary performance loudspeaker with differential drive technology and a refined Radiation Boundary Integrator (RBI) waveguide.
Initially acquired by MGG in 2014, their two dozen JBL VTX V20s have had their fair share of gigs over the years.
“We’ve had the 24 JBL VTX V20 cabinets for the last six years and they have treated us well at MGG. We’ve been impressed by their durability and the storms they’re able to weather. The cabinets are still in very good condition and they currently perform very well,” noted Konstant de Vos, head of audio at MGG Productions.
“The JBL VTX V20 is a very versatile PA we use on gigs from 500 to 10,000 people. With large-format 20,000 people gigs we combine JBL VTX V20s and JBL VTX V25s to cater for the masses, which works well and gives us even coverage.”
De Vos continues: “Because of the rapport JBL has built with us, we had to get an extra six JBL VTX V20s. This has opened more doors for us, because – as you know – one can never have enough PA,” smiles de Vos.
“JBL VTX V20 has been a truly fantastic workhorse box for us and has been used in many day-to-day applications. With the continued development of new DSP (Digital Signal Processing) programs, we look forward to many more years of use,” concluded Mark Gaylard, managing director of MGG Productions.
