Course presenter Ruud de Deugd is an internationally-renowned expert in the entertainment industry, with more than 15 years of experience specialising in rigging and structures for events. Together with his colleagues at T&E Support, Ruud provides advisory, engineering, supervision and training services in the field of temporary demountable structures and rigging for events. T&E Support is a world-class service provider and is a member of the relevant division of the European Committee for Standardisation (CEN/TC 152 WG3), which is responsible for setting industry standards for event structures in the EU.

The practical course will cover safety, maintenance, lifting materials, force calculations and load tables. Interested delegates must be competent in mathematics. 

Delegates who pass the examination will receive certification and 48 SACIA CPD points.
