Crestron was pleased to take part in this year’s Superyacht Design Forum held at the Design Centre Chelsea Harbour on 26 and 27 June. Crestron partnered with Ideaworks and Van Berge Henegouwen to host two lunch sessions which saw the attendance of over 80 delegates from the marine industry.
The session was led by Ideaworks’ Rex Barrett, projects director and Paul Richardson, lighting design principal together with Crestron’s Phillip Pini, head of residential development Europe. This 45-minute session focused on the challenges of creating a bespoke system for superyachts which opened a vibrant discussion on the importance of good project management.
“Thanks to wonderful, energetic and engaged participants, our creative session with Crestron was amazing,” states Rex Barrett of Ideaworks
Crestron and Van Berge Henegouwen (VBH) hosted a creative brainstorm which explored the future of user interfaces. The session focused on how the increase in mobile devices has affected interaction with the technology around us, answering the question what will UI’s onboard superyachts be like in the near future?
Casper Kleiman, marketing manager of VBH, comments: “Thanks to wonderful, energetic and engaged participants, our creative session with Crestron was amazing!”
“The design centre was a hub of excitement over the Superyacht Design Forum two-day event dedicated to superyacht designers. We were proud to partner with Ideaworks and VBH for these events” comments Hamish Neale, Residential Sales Manager Europe.
