Extron Electronics recently announced new versions of the DTP T FB 232 and DTP T
FB 332 two-input transmitters that feature analogue stereo audio embedding. The
DTP T FB transmitters send HDMI or VGA, audio, and control up to 230 feet (70
meters) or 330 feet (100 meters) over a shielded CATx cable. Both DTP
transmitters are compatible with floor boxes from OBO Bettermann, MK by
Honeywell, Electraplan, and PUK. These transmitters can embed stereo analogue
audio onto the digital video signal for transport over DTP. This streamlines
integration and is particularly useful when connecting to displays without analogue
audio inputs. The new DTP T FB versions with audio embedding are now available.
“We are excited to provide AV system designers and integrators with audio
embedding support on these DTP transmitters,” says Casey Hall, Vice President of
Sales and Marketing for Extron. “This capability, combined with the unique form
factor, provides a highly flexible floor box mounting solution that simplifies
integration of AV equipment in a wide range of applications.”
The DTP Systems product family is the industry’s most comprehensive integration
platform for small to medium-sized AV systems. This family includes a number of
different extender models in a wide variety of form factors and video formats, plus
a broad offering of distribution amplifiers, switchers, and matrix switchers with
essential AV signal processing and control features. DTP Systems allow complete
flexibility in designing systems precisely to application and budget requirements.
