Four years ago, the first commercial 4K displays came to market with five-figure price
tags. Today, you can buy an Ultra HD television (3840×2160) for as little as $500, and
display panel manufacturers are rapidly shifting production away from Full HD to 4K
resolution. It’s expected that 4K will shortly become the standard resolution for both
display monitors and televisions.
Kramer’s VP−426H2 is a high−performance digital scaler for HDMI and computer
graphics/HDTV signals. The unit up− or down−scales computer graphics and HDTV
signals to resolutions up to 4Kx2K. 28 output resolutions and native are supported.
The user selects the computer graphics/HDTV or HDMI input, and the scaled output is
sent to both the computer graphics and HDMI outputs.
In line with these developments, Kramer’s VP-426H2 now offers a reliable true 4K
scaling experience for simple, casual huddle space environments. This compact scaler
supports HDMI and VGA and features input auto-scanning.
