Leading into InfoComm 2017 (Booth #1973), Matrox® Graphics Inc. announced immediate evaluation-unit availability of the recently announced Maevex 6150 quad 4K enterprise encoder appliance for interested developers and system integrators.
Also immediately available for evaluation and development, the Matrox PowerStream Plus AV-over-IP management application which provides complete reach and control over the entire Maevex network—the Maevex 6150 stand-alone quad 4K encoder appliance, as well as the Maevex 6100 PCIe® quad 4K encoder card and extant Maevex 5100 Series encoders and decoders.
“Maevex 6150 is a huge leap forward for networked video. Already working alongside developers and system integrators, Matrox has crafted an all-in-one device with a massive encoding toolset and a powerful software control suite,’ said Ron Berty, business development manager, Matrox Graphics. “With the added feedback from our client base, the Maevex 6150 will not just enter, but disrupt the enterprise streaming and recording market in a few short weeks.’
Maevex 6150 users benefit from up to quad 4K/UHD simultaneous streaming and recording, as well as 4:4:4 sub-sampling support with best-in-breed H.264 encoding — allowing for transmission of numerous streams of video and desktop content over 1Gb Ethernet networks. Matrox’s included PowerStream Plus Maevex control software offers single or multi-location management of multi-protocol and multi-bitrate streaming, chroma sub-sampling, multiple picture-in-picture (PIP) and quadrant composite options, and much more.
