- Which product/s caught your eye at Prolight+Sound 2018?
While the focus is often on the big product launches from the leading manufacturers at international shows, it was great to see some of the smaller innovations, like the little motors for moving smaller objects. I was also very impressed with the amount of laser technology on offer.
- Do you feel that these products are well suited to the local market?
To be honest, I am not sure. Most products on exhibition just seemed to fall way outside of our budgets. With our limited buying power, I simply don’t know how South African companies are going to be able to keep up with the trends that are gaining traction globally.
- What was the overall highlight of Prolight+Sound 2018?
PRG once again put on a truly amazing show at the Festhalle this year, which I enjoyed enormously.
